The General Home Medical Clinic Mino is a home care specialist clinic located near the historic Udatsu streetscape in Mino City, Gifu Prefecture. Operated by the medical corporation Kagayaki, which established Gifu Prefecture's first dedicated home care clinic in 2009, it opened in January 2024 as their third facility. Under the philosophy of "supporting patients to live safely at home as they wish," physicians make regular visits to the homes and care facilities of patients who have difficulty traveling to the clinic, providing examinations, diagnostic tests, prescriptions, and medical guidance. Visit frequency is generally once every two weeks, but can be increased to weekly or more depending on the patient's condition, and the clinic offers 24-hour, 365-day emergency home visit coverage including late-night, early-morning, and holiday calls. The scope of conditions and procedures is extensive, covering cancer, dementia, cerebrovascular disease, intractable neurological diseases, heart failure, diabetes, ALS, and interstitial pneumonia, along with advanced medical procedures such as ventilator management, gastrostomy care, central venous nutrition, abdominal paracentesis, ultrasound examinations, and continuous subcutaneous opioid infusion. Physicians with diverse specialties collaborate to deliver comprehensive care, and through coordination with nearby general hospitals and patients' primary physicians, the clinic also supports acute-phase management during home care and patients undergoing outpatient chemotherapy. Standard health insurance applies, and out-of-pocket costs are capped through the High-Cost Medical Expense Benefit System. The service area covers all of Mino City and parts of Seki City, with on-site parking available.
