Located in the Tsukigata area of Niigata City's Minami Ward, Tsukigata Naika Clinic is a community-focused clinic specializing in internal medicine and cardiology. Director Akira Hirono graduated from Niigata University Faculty of Medicine, studied abroad at the University of Manitoba in Canada, and served as a lecturer in the Department of Cardiology at Niigata University Medical and Dental Hospital and as a professor in the Department of Cardiology at the Niigata University Center for Regional Medical Education, making him a specialist in the cardiovascular field. The clinic resumed operations in May 2018, carrying on the legacy of the previous director who closed the practice in 2010, continuing to serve as an institution that inherits and develops regional healthcare. The clinic offers a wide range of services, from general internal medicine conditions such as fever, cough, and fatigue to cardiovascular diseases including hypertension, diabetes, angina pectoris, arrhythmia, and heart failure. Additionally, health examinations, specific health checkups, smoking cessation treatment, and various vaccinations are available, supporting local residents in preventive healthcare as well. With the motto "Providing high-quality medical care and energizing the community," the clinic aims to be a trusted primary care provider. The facility is equipped with parking and barrier-free access, making it easily accessible for elderly patients and those with mobility challenges. The clinic is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with Saturday hours limited to the morning.
